During my next trip to the dyno I was going to do a couple of runs with and without that mod to at least try to begin to collect some data. That plan got thwarted when I wrecked my Z. While no one has proved that the throttle body mod works, conversely no one has proved that the mod does NOT work, either. So I don't feel we should be too quick to dismiss it. Supposedly, Paul from Avalon Racing did show a gain in horsepower with this mod. I don't have any first hand knowledge of this and only listed that possibility as a "rumor" on my Web site. That is all.
